The Toll of Time

Before the first stars burned, the Architects shaped the cosmos. Above them stand the Timekeepers—five beings charged with guarding the flow of time. Their power is absolute, and their oath forbids them from using it.

Aurelius Mourningstar, First Seat of the Timekeepers, broke his oath. His rebellion shattered history, scattering temporal wreckage across countless realities. Worlds where moments loop endlessly, where cause and effect no longer hold, where futures bloom that were never meant to be. They call them the Fragments of Aurelius.

Now four Timekeepers remain to clean up what he left behind.

Alvenoa Aelfriede, the Fourth Seat, travels from fragment to fragment, recording each ruined civilization in his own words and repairing what he can of their broken histories.
